***Board Meeting***
Board Meeting was held at Ron & Lois house on Wednesday August 30, 2006. Attending board members were: John Augustine, Ron Peterson, Shari Mullen, Bert Sharbaugh, and Lori/Jim Kerr. Guests attending were: Jim Hostletler. Three board members were absent.
We discussed managing the quarry. Another meeting with the owner of the quarry will be on September 9 th.
With Rose selling Maurer's remaining inventory, we've discovered the club no longer has an address. We will start using Ron and Lois' address (where we are holding the board meetings) 204 Plank Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931.
John will proceed with Sheetz with a new fundraiser.
Ron and Donna Sabol will coordinate with a new membership list.
A memorial for Bob was discussed. If anyone has any ideas, either bring them to the next board meeting or contact a board member.
John will contact Rose about any Laurel Divers memorabilia left at Maurer's.
The last details of Raystown picnic was discussed.
We will keep the same menu and the same costs for the Christmas Party at Penn Gables.
John reserved the boat for Brockville, Ontario, Canada (1000 Islands) on 8/12/2007 and 8/13/2007.
*** General Meeting ***
The General Meeting was called to order at Penn Gables, Ebensburg, PA on September 7, 2006 at 7:45pm by President John Augustine.
Treasurers Report for the month of August 2006:
Income: $893.24 Expenses: $1789.37
Net: -896.13
Actual Checkbook balance: $2275.12
Membership report: 58 current members, with 14 members
recently dropped from the list for no paying 2006 dues. No new applications
received.
Old Business
Barb Wyland said she couldn't attend the board meetings because of her work schedule. Bob Hand volunteered and was appointed by John to be a Board Member until the next elections.
New Business
A new Sheetz MTO fundraiser will be held this fall. John Augustine will make the arrangements to get the 200 coupons. Everyone is welcome to buy any quantity of tickets at $4 each to help the club.
Rose announced that Maurer's dive shop is closed. All the inventory was sold and moved out.
The address for Laurel Divers will be 204 Plank Road, Ebensburg, 15931.
Quarry Cleanup will be Thursday, September 14th, starting at 5:00pm. Five people volunteered to help.
The Christmas Party will be the same menu and the same prices.
Lake Raystown Picnic will be Sunday, September 10th. The boat will depart from the Oak Pavilion at 8:30am and 12:30pm sharp. Only eight divers per boat can be scheduled. Please prepay $10 per diver per boat ahead of time to schedule your spot.

Door Prize: Lois Keegan won a mesh goodie bag.
Day Book: The previous balance was $128, and 24 signed today, making
the current balance $152. Paul Brawley's name was selected;
he was not present, so no money won.
Ron Peterson did a presentation on "BC Configuration". He discussed buying various parts from various sources, customizing and assembling them into a BC that's perfect for you.
The next board meeting will be Wednesday 7:30pm, September 27, 2006 at Ron and Lois' house. As usual BYOS (bring your own snacks).
The next general meeting will be Thursday 7:30pm, October 5, 2006 at
Penn Gables. (Several of us usually meet for dinner before
the meeting, about 6:15pm – everyone is welcome to join us.)
