The Board meeting was at Ron’s and Lois on February January 21th at 7:30pm.  John Augustine, Donna Sabol, Ron Peterson, Jean Mullen, Jim/Lori Kerr were present.  Guests were Lois Keegan and Joy Augustine.  We discussed the Sheetz fund raiser, treasure dive prizes, and an idea for a Bob Maurer memorial.

The General Meeting was called to order at Penn Gables, Ebensburg, PA  on March 1st, 2007 at 7:30 pm, by Secretary Ron Peterson..

Treasurers Report for the month of February: Current checkbook balance is $1858.66

Membership Report: Currently 62. Lance Marks and John Boyer are new members.

Old Business

MTO coupons for fundraiser are now available from Shari Mullen.  A $4 contribution buys you a Sheetz MTO item and drink.  Please support the club by purchasing and selling as many coupons as possible.  Currently 15 are sold and 85 are remaining.

New Business

The April meeting will be April 12th, not the 5th.  This will allow the St. Francis biology class to present their trip to the club.  Laurel Divers will be providing pizza to all St. Francis presenters, beginning 6:30 on April 12th at Penn Gables.

Scuba Olympics:
“We are the champions, of the world…”   The Scuba Olympics were four teams:  Two St Francis Teams, one from Westsylvania, and one from Laurel Divers.  For the fourth year in-a-row, the Laurel Divers were victorious!  Congratulations to Jim, Sandy, Kim, Donna, Bob, Everet and Greg.

Donna Bender presented her video of the Dolphin Trip that she was on two years ago.  If anyone is interested, she’s taking names for another trip, May 10-16, 2008

Congratulations to Bert Sharbaugh and Arlene McCully for passing the birthday event again.

John Fry won the door prize:  a scuba license plate.

Wayne Pappert would have won the day book of $258 but was not present.
