Program
Because of the student schedules, we began the meeting with the program. The students of the St. Francis Biology class presented their trip to the Crystal River area of Florida. The main subject of the trip was Manatee; physiology, habitat, interaction with nature and man, and preservation of the Manatee. It was a fantastic presentation. We learned a lot. Thanks to Sue Morra in putting this together.
Old Business
Sue Morra passed out the t-shirts to the Laurel Divers as the winners of the Scuba Olympics. They were the right color and the right size. We should soon place our order for t-shirts for next years event…
MTO coupons for fundraiser are now available from Shari Mullen. A $4 contribution buys you a Sheetz MTO item and drink. Please support the club by purchasing and selling as many coupons as possible. Currently 115 are sold and 85 are remaining.
For the next Treasure Dive, we discussed having just three good prizes rather than a lot of small small prizes. Some suggestions were a pony bottle, a tank, a regulator, a reel, and gift certificate.
Donna Bender is planning a Dolphin Trip May 10-16, 2008. Only two more spots are available.
