The Board meeting was at Ron’s and Lois on April 26th at 7:30pm. John Augustine, Donna Sabol, Ron Peterson.  Guests were Joy Augustine, Dan & Diane Turcovsky and Lois Keegan. Membership dues reminder letters will be sent by Donna Sabol.  John and Joy will be hosting a trip in Key Largo about January 2008.  We need to send a reminder to Mike for toilets.  We discussed the Sheetz fund raiser, treasure dive prizes.

The General Meeting was called to order at Penn Gables, Ebensburg, PA  on May 3rd, 2007 at 7:30 pm, by President John Augustine with the traditional conch blow.

Treasurers Report for the month of April: Income $0, Expenses $22, Current checkbook balance $1616.47, Trip Accurral is $100, and Available checkbook balance is $1516.47.
Membership Report: Currently 63. No new members.  (We do have two wishing to apply after they have been certified).
Old Business

Bob Hand was able to make requests of  various radio and newspaper to put in “free” ads for Laurel Divers.

MTO coupons for fundraiser are now available from Shari Mullen.  A $4 contribution buys you a Sheetz MTO item and drink.  Please support the club by purchasing and selling as many coupons as possible.  Currently 119 are sold and 81 are remaining.

For the next Treasure Dive, we discussed having just three good prizes rather than a lot of small small prizes.  Some suggestions were a pony bottle, a tank, a regulator, a reel, and gift certificate.
New Business

Bert Sharbaugh suggested a cave (spelunking) trip near the Williamsburg quarry.  Arrangements will need to be made with the Penn State Grotto.  If anyone is interested, contact Bert.
John and Joy Augustine will be hosting a trip to Key Largo Flordia, about January 2008.  Let them know if you can make it.

Trip Reports

Lori and Jim Kerr recently went to the Turks and Caicos.

Morehead City.  Jim Smith has suggest three different trips.  Each would be three days of diving.  Each would allow from 2 to 10 divers.  Diving is $110 per day.
